PC (Windows/Mac)

The primary and safest way to download Fortnite on a computer is directly through the developer, Epic Games.

Download the Epic Games Launcher: Go to the official Epic Games website and download the Epic Games Launcher application.

Install the Launcher: Run the installer and sign in or create a free Epic Games account.

Install Fortnite: Once the launcher is open, go to the Store or your Library, find Fortnite, and click Install.

📱 Mobile Devices

Android

Fortnite is available on Android, but not through the Google Play Store in most regions.

Install the Epic Games Store App: Go to the official Fortnite website or the Epic Games Store page on your Android device's browser.

Download and Install: Follow the on-screen instructions to download the Epic Games Store app (this may require you to allow installations from "unknown sources" in your settings).

Install Fortnite: Open the Epic Games Store app and download and install Fortnite from there.

iOS (iPhone/iPad) & Cloud Streaming

Due to the app store dispute, the traditional Fortnite Battle Royale app is not currently available on the Apple App Store. However, you can play it through cloud streaming services for free.

Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta): You can play Fortnite via the cloud on your iOS device or PC through Xbox Cloud Gaming (Xbox.com/play) using a Microsoft account. A Game Pass subscription is NOT required for Fortnite.

NVIDIA GeForce NOW: This cloud gaming service also supports Fortnite.
